Well I notice I have not posted anything on here for over ten days! I figured I need to post something on here before it is considered summer.

I have so many projects that I need to get to and I still want to start posting on etsy. I am slowly arranging my life and fixing up the work area to work on more projects. I mainly need to start listing as I have all but given up on disability and I need to get some parts to work on the two large projects outside.

The main reason I haven't been doing projects is because I have been stricken with both allergies and some sort of cold. Taking a medication that lowers your immune system I tend to stay sick for weeks. I debate if  I should go to the hospital but I don't want to hear the everlasting your obese diagnosis. I have now realized that is all the doctors do here is diagnose ever issue with your fat or with the latest pain killer. With a rare disease I wouldn't go a month with out seeing a doctor in California here I go six months and then its the same two diagnosis physical therapy and your obese. Oh lord let me move with in a hour drive to a large city were doctors are well educated.

During this what ever is going on, I am stuck with no energy and when I feel like I have energy it is just a momentary thing. I did for I don't know what reason post on gofundme to buy the church property(see left st lukes). I would say it is because I am enamored with the property but I think it is the other way around. Every time I tell myself I am not going to think about it any longer because I have no finical anything in the forum of a call, website or some strange unintentional thought. So here is the link, mine as well let it run until it blows over or gets re-devolped by some money hungry investor.

Besides me spending all this time randomly surfing the internet I do mange to water the plants and when I have to water I can snap some photos. It has been trying to rain here for at least 4 days and so the wind is always chilly and blowing. It makes it near impossible to sit outside and enjoy anything. I tell my neighbor I would love to redo our tiny back yard and move my sitting area into the back. The cons are more shade, less traffic noise and I could expand the garden. The one horrible thing keeping me from ever completing this project is the neighbors dogs. I compare our outside experience to that of an African safari. Why you ask? Well it's the bazillion flies that migrate from his poo piles to our yards. The three commercial fly catchers I have outside isn't even enough!

We had a late Easter egg get delivered by some odd native bird to the fountain. Imagine they needed something to wash it down with.
 Mr Lincoln bloomed for me!

The Peace is still going to town, I get complements all the time!
Chrysler Imperial? not really sure was here when we moved in.

California Poppy I planted last year is putting off a nice show.

Well it is one of those days, I really need to post something on here and I really should post something intelligent/informative but my mind is in an odd drift. My brain has been going a mile a minute for a few days now but it is sort of all over the place.

Before cooking
After Meringue
I made more bread pudding a few days ago, the first batch was ruined when a Pyrex lid dish fell out of the cupboard and shattered everywhere. I finally got the second batch completed and that is where that lies. I never made it with Meringue before.

I have bashing my head in trying to figure out a way of making money again. Not able to work because of the fatigue, pain and crippling effect of this damn arthritis is a PITA. I just need to find a away to make money but I then remember if I get any sort of job how will I get medical? I will lose my county medical even with a part time job and how do I afford the 3000$ medication I need to postpone the crippling effects?
Oh hey anyone want to buy a 4 month supply? I would then be able to buy that church property to renovate(Heritage Gardens) :) Its a brain teaser for sure, I think I have figured something out to make money again and not involve eBay, disability(fingers crossed) and medical. That would be to get an apprentice type figure that I could mold into a business partner. Thus having money to take care of stuff while they can make a percentage it won't effect anything for me as it will be shhheeeeshhhh secret!! Under the table...
Then as I sit here with my computer browser(Firefox) and after every fifth word I type it freezes! Between "Not Responding" and me enamored on the church property. I end up finding myself with twenty-five tabs open researching the cheapest and "greenest" way to do repairs/maintenance. I swear I am buying one of these a Speedheater™ IR Paint Remover . I told my buddy he is lucky I am broke or there would be one ordered now. I also said don't be surprised if you see me randomly around town stripping paint from homes, trim and furniture lol I learned a heck of alot about Clapboard siding and anything else I am looking for. I get a great history as well as the design and proper insulation techniques of what ever I am researching. I also learn about the great craftsmen who installed these items. Then I watch "How That's Made" and discover how they turn plastic bottles into we um "Evolved"
Then I also did some landscaping on this rental I really need to stop doing work on something that is not mine but I just get sick of looking at this yard. I believe this is punishment for all those times I screamed about how much I hate those homes landscaped with lava rock instead of grass. If it was done correctly it wouldn't be so so bad but when they use plastic as weed barrier it is not going to last.
 I spy a cigarette bud..
My neighbor which I used as the Before photos(Blogger is horrible at photo arranging and forget adding captions) has let some high school kid move in and well everyone smokes in high school now. Its like all those ads for smoking back in the 60's talking about smoking and everyone complaining about how the ads are enticing kids. Well sorry folks they are still smoking cigarettes. I must have picked up at least two dozen buts from our yard from them flicking them. It irritates me something bad so I confront the guy and told him off. I even told him that I purposely put a bucket on  his porch for them. I made the point like hey tell your roommate to stop it or I will be cutting off his hand! Well today I found two more. My buddy tells me I need to tell the young'ins about it...oh joy...My big concern besides them never decomposing is them setting off a brush fire in the you can see in the neighbors yard...

Now I am just here, did to much work....wayyyyyy to much work so now I have to pay the price. But I do have more flower photos. At least I still contribute to this! I am also working on a way to get some items listed for sale as I do miss passing on finds to other people. Oh and a photo of my home made fountain for the birds...I seem to rearrange it every few months do to weather, fat birds or cheap o pump..Oh and humming bird moths are back!

The Traveling Sprinkler!

Well I don't know if I mentioned it here but I had a sprinkler wonder off a few days ago. I was sort of upset but it was some old sprinkler I found in the dumpster. I was more like who the heck would steal a crappy lawn sprinkler that didn't work and and annnddd we are in the desert who has a lawn?
I gave up looking and just laughed when I told people someone stole my sprinkler. I took it as long gone but today I found it! I went to take my friend to the bank and outside the bank laying near the sidewalk was my sprinkler! I was like that looks like my sprinkler then I was like wait that is my sprinkler! I was still doubtful but when I picked it up it was missing the o ring that I took out to use on the hose. Then I get home, see it has bent blades and that confirmed it!

I am still banging my head on it out of all the things to pick up this? Was there some scavenger hunt I didn't know about? Now I am wonder what other not worth enough to drag in the house stuff will walk away on me.
That is a one and a half mile journey it took. I do wish I could hear its story.

This I believe is a Vintage Orbit Fan Sprinkler.

Other things today the wind finally stopped for a day it was very nice to sit outside and enjoy the roses. I was having fun! So I took photos they sure are gorgeous but seems last year they were more uniform. We will see when the others start opening there are a TON this year.
I said if the Cecile Brunner rose's at wal mart went half off I would buy one and well the pharmacy was still closed when I took my prescription in so I had to wonder over there. Here it is chilling in a bowl of water with fresh soil on top. I suspect by next month I will have a 30 foot runner on my hands. Must admit it is one of my all time favs, I remember this one from when I was really young every old Victorian home had one of these either climbing up it or growing out in the alley. They are pretty darn old patent is 1881.

Cecile Brunner was developed in France by Joseph Pernet-Ducher and introduced in 1881. It is a cross of Mignonette and a Tea Rose named Madame de Tartas. It was named after the daughter of Swiss Rosarian Ulrich Brünner.

Cecile Brunner, also known as Mme. Cècile Brünner and The Sweetheart Rose, is a bush rose that grows to 4 feet. It blooms profusely in the spring and then continues to bloom until frost. Blossoms are a soft silvery pink and look like a hybrid tea in miniature. They appear in clusters and have a sweet fragrance. This is one of the best loved and easiest to grow rose varieties.

Spring Time Friends!!!

Its Easter Sunday and its only natural to brag about spring! This year being the second spring here I get to watch my friends return. It appears it has been encoded in last generations children that this guy has sweet flowers lol

Besides the birds which can get a bit madding as they know I have seed plus I get the expensive song bird mix for the small canaries and finches plus I modified my feeder to allow longer roosting areas. I found out that when they don't get fed they go after my birdseed I planted in the ground for the sunflowers as those seem like a non fail flower here. Then the next day I see only green sticks with two tiny leaves in the ground.

The butterflies are my favorite! This year I have two huge swallowtails they are my favorite but we also have hummingbird moths that I quite intriguing but they come later in the season. This is also the time of the black widow I am already noticing one car being webbed to the ground it always makes working under them really fun. We had one that over wintered inside and she was getting bigger....then yesterday Mr. Socks decided to eat her! I hope he doesn't come down with spider powers all I need is a spider kitty.

Its also the time for new blood in the town usually in the forum of tourist but sometimes I get lucky and meet young blood from the area that have came out of the caves for work. I meet a really awesome young guy that is renting a room next door, his job is working for a guy pulling weeds and I was shocked that he knew about weeds!! He is a young guy and I can't help but wonder now can I be a mentor to him. I would love to teach him about gardening and landscaping. Plus if he was interested enough I could help lead him into an amazing career.

I do meet alot of younger men in this town that are troubled from one reason or the other. I can see they are very intelligent but most have just given up. Many people don't believe men can have "issues" but they do trust me! Its just society thinking men are suppose be "tough" and they aren't able to show emotions.

The problem with a lot of younger people here is they have gotten in trouble with the law and now must pay restitution. Well with that "judgement" they can not leave the town. This is horrible because how can one better themselves if they are forced to stay in a town with 0 career opportunities and no public transportation? How is one suppose to travel 150 miles one way to the "large" city or 300 for the national city for a career. Its sad and I am always happy to meet someone with out these "limitations".

He reminds me of myself at that age and yes I know 30 isn't old enough for me to start mentoring. But with a crippling disease I can only see my lively hood live through others I am able to teach. He is out there pulling weeds and it reminds me of my first job working absurd hours while trying to go to college. I was making 7.25$ an hour watering and maintaining plants in 24 hour fitness, office buildings and more offices. That ended up leading to a 25$ an our job when I was in my young 20's plus I did pick up a lot of knowledge.

Here sadly there is no room to grow from pulling weeds to anything else that one could use their intelligence on. Also on a job like that you always have to worry about an illegal immigration taking  your position. I honestly wish I had the means to hire this young man for an employee. I can tell you it's not easy to find anyone that knows "weeds" are technically not a plant. This is why I am wanting to start that heritage garden(link on right) because this property would give me a hub for my "business" adventure.

It appears spring 2015 here in Page is turning out to be really amazing and for me too. I blame it on all the freakish snow storms and rain we got. When we moved here there was only a few mustard plants and one of the drunk owners relatives sprayed them with weed killer. This year there all over the property!! I leave them as these butterfly's and other insects love mustard to lay eggs and larva on. I have signs up and hope that nothing on the property is sprayed or chopped down. The trees are also doing amazing like my roses because I have been here to maintain the property; also I regularly purne/shape/trim them. I am just really getting sick of rocks and the young man that moved in said he was also. I was OMG I found my twin lol

Here are some photos!!!

 Can you find the bug?
This guy is Jack, we got him on a walk over a year ago. This family has been inhabiting this cactus from the beginning! They are called Cactus Bug - Chelinidea vittiger

Alternator Phase III Assemble

First I have to say, I thank all the Mercedes Gods and Goddess that this is done! I should stop thinking that any 30 year old anything is going to be fast and easy...

I started on the slip rings, I didn't have a lathe and so I had to do it the po folk way! I used a combo of a dremel, sand paper and files to smooth the slip rings as best as possible.

While doing that I noticed the insulation on wire was near gone. That could be a very nasty sort. So I wrapped it the best I could with heat shirk. You can see it on the left photo on the right. I then had to redo the coating on the rotor. I used lacquer.

Then I had to go over the stator. Cleaning, sanding, cleaning, sanding and finally painting. I went blue.

Next it was time for the electronics all the wiring insulation was toast and had to be replaced. All the diodes measured fine.

The new regulator came in too

Well time to assemble and get it on the car

Well lets see if it works! Ah yep perfect!!! Time will tell if it will keep the voltage steady. I got a new battery and well its almost a year old June 2014!! So I am sure it needs to ideal for a bit to build up voltage. I will keep an eye on it over the next few days.
